The Knox County News is pleased to introduce two new additions to our staff.
Thelma Jones-Schroeder and Tammy Schindler, both of Creighton, have already begun contributing to this week’s edition.
Reporting and sales will be Thelma’s primary responsibilities at the newspaper, while Tammy will take on the roles of reporter and designer.
Thelma brings experience working in sales, marketing and management. She is married to Eric Schroeder who is employed by North Central Public Power District. They have four children: Darius Jones, Ambroshia Jones, Terance Burrell and Payton Schroeder.
Communication has always been the focus of Tammy’s career. She is a retired English teacher and speech coach who spent her entire teaching career at Plainview High School. Tammy’s husband Steve is the executive vice president of Midwest Bank in Creighton. They have three sons: Skyler, Nick and Beau.
