Area road construction will begin tomorrow weather permitting. An armor coating project will begin on N‑13, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Armor coating is an application of an asphalt binder to a roadway surface followed by an aggregate.

State maintenance forces will be performing an armor coating on N-13 beginning at the N-13/US-20 junction, north to the N-13/N-59 junction, south of Creighton.  The work is anticipated to take three days.

Traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane closures with the use of flaggers and a pilot car. Motorists should expect to see delays, and are reminded to drive cautiously in and near construction zones.
