OSMOND — Osmond General Hospital personnel will host the hospital’s annual health fair Monday and Tuesday, June 17 and 18.
With a theme, Race to Wellness, the fair will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 7 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, with blood draws beginning at 6:30 a.m. each day.
Some traditional features return, including electrocardiograms and lab draws by OGH staff, as well as Bryan Health’s mobile screening unit.
Tests with the Bryan unit require an appointment, as well as fasting for the abdominal aortic aneurysm screen. More information is available by calling the hospital.
Free and discounted screening will be offered.
During the two-day fair, the hospital is once again raising funds to help others. Guests may pick up a treat at the bake sale, with proceeds going to the residents’ activity fund. A gift-basket raffle will be held, with the drawing set for Tuesday. Proceeds will help OGH create comfort care kits for those diagnosed with cancer.
Visitors may also pick up a check-off card and stop by a number of booths and vendors to enter a contest to win a $100 prize package.
