The Knox County Sheriff’s office received a report, at 7:23 a.m. Sunday, June 9, of a one-vehicle accident two miles east of Bloomfield.
An investigation determined that, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a westbound 2007 Dodge Nitro owned by Richard and Kathy Bruce of Bloomfield and driven by Gage Satterley, of the same address, attempted to turn south at the intersection of Highway 84 and 546 Avenue. Satterley lost control, entered the west ditch and struck a fence corner post. The Nitro received more than $1,000 damage. No one was injured and the owner of the fence was notified.
The office received a report of a pickup/deer accident at 5:27 a.m. Monday, June 10.
A 2016 Chev Silverado, owned by Vestas American Wind Technology, Sparks Glencoe, Md., and driven by Cole Mohnen of Yankton, S.D., received more than $1,000 in damage. Mohnen was not injured.
