NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND SPECIAL MEETING KNOX COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

Notice is hereby given that the Knox County Board of Equalization will hold a special meeting and public hearing beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019 to make final decisions on written protests filed between June 1 and July 1 pursuant to Sections 77-1502 to 77-1507 pertaining to the assessed value of their property.  An itinerary if physically viewing protested properties for such public hearing will be kept current and available to the public during normal business hours at the Knox County Clerk’s Office.  

Following the protest public hearing, the Knox County Board of Equalization will hold a special meeting to discuss, consider and take any necessary action on filed Forms 425- Report of Destroyed Real Property that are not reviewed and/or acted upon at the July 11, 2019 regular meeting of the Knox Board of Equalization.

An agenda for such meeting will be kept current and available to the public during normal business hours at the Knox County Clerk’s Office and may be modified at such meeting to include items of an emergency nature pursuant to Section 84-1411 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.  Please call the Knox County Clerk’s Office at 402-288-5604 if you have any questions.
