The Bulldogs have qualified two athletes for the 2019 NSAA State Track and Field Championships at Omaha Burke Stadium.
Thad Hazen will be running in the 100-meter dash and Alex Homan will be in the vault event.
On Friday Hazen will run at approximately 10:35 a.m. in the preliminaries. The running event finals will take place on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
The pole vault event will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
At the district competition held at Norfolk Catholic, the Bulldog team placed sixth with 39.5 points, and the Lady Bulldogs scored one point trailing the field of nine teams.
Homan took first place in the vault, soaring over the bar at 13'.
Hazen finished fifth in the 100, but his time of 11.53 was one of the top six third- through sixth-place finishers in the Class, qualifying him for state.
Several Bulldogs brought district medals home as well, including Cade Hammer, third in triple jump; the 400-meter relay team, third; Sam Van Metre, fourth in both the triple and long jumps; Carson Lilly, fifth in high jump; Terance Burrell, fifth in discus; 3200-meter relay team, fifth; Anthony Morrill, sixth in 400-meter run and Kyler Adams, sixth in 110-meter hurdles; and Ashtyn Fritz in the girls' vault.
