With six medals, the Crofton girls track team finished runner-up in Class C on Saturday afternoon.
Chase County edged the Warriors for the state title by just half a point. Crofton won top honors in Class C the previous two years.
Haley Arens won two state titles for Crofton and a runner-up nod. She won both the 1,600 and 3,200 and finished second in the 800 as teammate Kelsey Sanger placed fourth.
Monica Arens struck gold in the shot put and was part of the fifth-place 4x400 team of Jessica Lange, Josie Sanger and Kelsey Sanger.
