The Bloomfield football team held on to defeat Osmond, 30-20, Wednesday in the second-round of the Class D-2 playoffs.
After a scoreless first quarter of action, Brantson Gieselman and Braden Eisenhauer got the Bees on the scoreboard with touchdown runs.
An Anthony Heiman 49-yard TD pass to Justus Maertens, cut Bloomfield's lead to 16-8 at the half.
Eisenhauer opened the third quarter with a four-yard TD run, but Hieman answered with a one-yard score.
Leading 22-14 to start the fourth, Eisenhauer found Trenton Holz for a crucial 14-yard touchdown.
On the Tigers ensuing drive, Hieman broke free for a 43-yard score.
The Bees shutdown the high-powered Osmond offense to secure the win and a trip to the quarterfinals.
Gieselman led the offense with 200 yards rushing and a touchdown. Eisenhauer threw for 76 yards, ran for 78 yards and collected three total touchdowns and Holz hauled in four catches for 76 yards and a score.
Bloomfield (10-0) travels to Johnson to face Johnson-Brock Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the D-2 playoffs.
